Khalsa College of Education, G.T. Road Amritsar participated in 3 days Spring Flower-Cum Plant Show and National Seminar on Commercial Floriculture and Landscape Horticulture organised by Guru Nanak Dev University in collaboration with Ministry of Environment and Forest and Climate change (MOEF & CC) from March 13-15, 2019. Our College participated in 10 Categories i.e.A-4 (Pansy), A -6(Salvia, Stock), A-8 Group (display of Flower in 10 pots in any winter flower variety) B-2 (Coleus) B-8 (Palms) B-10 (Group display of Foliage/ ornamental plant in 8 Pots), D1 (Collection of two different Bonsai plants) and D2 (Single best specimen of Bonsai in pot not more them 12”inches size.) Out of 10 Categories our College bagged 3 first prizes in A-4, A-6, and B-2 and one third in B-5 Categories.

Students of our College also participated in two categories of Rangoli Competition i.e. F1: Rangoli with flower petals and F2 Rangoli with artificial material. Our College won Second prize in both the Categories of Rangoli. This is a big Achievement of College under the able guidance of worthy Principal Dr. Harpreet Kaur.
